Squier offers a little guitar villain in the form of the Cabronita Telecaster from their Vintage Modified series. Cabronita literally means little villain and this Telecaster is just that, on steroids, with wayward looks and an even fatter sound. This black Squier Cabronita Telecaster is based on the Fender version and has the same cool factor as the original but with a smaller price tag. Characteristic features of this model are the two Fideli'Tron humbuckers with one volume knob and a 3-way switch, the alternatively-shaped pickguard, and the Strat-type hardtail bridge with six adjustable saddles.
Squier Vintage Modified Cabronita Telecaster: basswood body
This Cabronita hides a traditionally-shaped Telecaster basswood body underneath its black high-gloss polyurethane lacquer. Basswood is a lightweight wood type that provides a warm tone and good mids. This guitar's neck is made of maple and has a modern 9.5-inch radius and a fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The result is a Telecaster that is easy to play, allowing for effortless bends without loss of notes.
