The body is based on the JP15 so excellent balance and optimal playing comfort are assured. African mahogany has been chosen for a well balanced and rich sound. The fretboard, which features JP Shield position markers, is made of maple which adds clarity and a nice bite.

Stability is an absolute must, which is why the neck is bolted on to the body using five screws. For tuning stability and intonation a modern tremolo and locking tuners are used.
