General
Vintage is a brand that wants to make quality accessible to everyone. Many brands would charge big money for an ST-style guitar with a solid alder body and gorgeous flamed maple veneer like this. Thanks to this Vintage Reissued V6HFTB, however, you won't need to break the bank to own such an instrument and enjoy it in all its splendour. Sound-wise, you'll have nothing to worry about either, as the combination of a Wilkinson WHHB humbucker and two Wilkinson WHS single-coils allows for a wide range of sounds. From sparkling cleans to thundering overdrives, this affordable Vintage guitar does it all.
V6HFTB: solid tremolo en tuners
Thanks to the Wilkinson WVC vibrato, the V6H has that classic ST-style sparkle; a beautifully bright open sound. Furthermore, this model's tremolos system is known to keep your tuning stable, even after the deepest dive bombs. Six chrome-plated Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-LOK tuners also help maintain that stability, holding onto the strings as tightly as possible. In short, the V6HHFTB is a remarkably versatile instrument with a gorgeous Tobacco Burst finish.
The Vintage brand
Vintage's history can be roughly divided into two periods. In the early days, they made cheap copies that lived up to all the negative stereotypes about low-budget instruments. However, that changed drastically when Trevor Wilkinson, famed for his affordable yet high-quality guitar parts, attached his name to the Vintage brand. Not only did Vintage's hardware division receive a shot of quality, the wood selection and construction methods were also vastly improved. Since then, Vintage has become known for their excellent price-to-quality ratio, and they've certainly been holding their own among the ferocious competition in this price range.
