Since it was first unveiled in the '60s, the VOX Phantom has carved out its own little niche in the electric guitar landscape. Ultra-small, this reissue of an iconic mini-model has a total length of just 81 centimetres, making it ideal for growing beginners or roaming guitarists and, for good measure, it comes pre-wrapped in its own form-fitting gig bag.

The VOX Mark V Mini: Tight Playability

The VOX Mark V Mini has a super-short 18.75 inch scale length which has been matched with a standard 42mm-wide nut, reducing reach when grabbing chords and licks but providing plenty of space to move for both the fret and playing hand. The relatively thick .011 to .054 gauged strings that come pre-installed polish off all the benefits of a short-scale model with the controlled and accurate feel of standard string tension, so this guitar can be tuned up in E-standard with no issues. Meanwhile, the solid poplar body comes equipped with a pair of single-coil pickups that deliver unmistakable, sixties-flavoured bite and growl.
