Yamaha's YEV-104 electric violin is inspired by the natural beauty of wood and the simplicity of flowing lines. This instrument is impressive to look at and listen to! It's comfortable and lightweight and its sound is as appealing as its appearance. The airy Infinity Loop design of the body combines the unmistakable shape of an acoustic guitar with a traditional violin.
YEV-104: Innovative Design
The YEV-104 electric violin is made up of six different types of wood. The solid body is made of a 5-layer combination of spruce, mahogany and maple, resulting in an excellent response. The frame around it is made of oiled walnut and the fretboard is made of rosewood. Lastly, the chin support and tuners are made of ebony.
Tone and Tuning Stability
Connect the YEV-104 electric violin using a standard mono jack instrument cable. It features the same piëzo pickup in the bridge as Yamaha's professional Silent Violins, so you can count on a warm, organic tone. It has D’Addario Zyex strings with an ingenious synthetic core for ultimate stability under all temperature conditions.

Samen met de Line6 G10 en de Yamaha MG10XU een perfecte combinatie met hoofdtelefoon, Cubase DAW en Yamaha/Krk studiomonitoren. Ik had nog telefonisch overleg met Yamaha NL gevoerd over de aansluiting op de mixer ipv een THR. Ik ben zeer tevreden met deze combi voor thuis en gig.
De zeer snelle levering was onvoorstelbaar. Door de kortingsbonnen van Bax was het apparaat nu even duur als in Dld, maar niet in verhouding tot de USA.
