General

The Fusion 14 Maple electro-acoustic classical guitar from Cordoba is a superb choice, regardless whether you're used to the steel strings of an electric or an acoustic guitar. Here, the feel is formed by a relatively slim neck, a 48mm nut, and a dark ebony fretboard blessed with a 16-inch radius for a light curve that supports a natural way of to grab chords. To take the playability even further, Cordoba have also opted for a crossover C neck profile and have given this particular model a cutaway to ensure full access to each of the nineteen frets.

Crafted using a solid European spruce soundboard and a body made of flamed maple, the Fusion 14 Maple boasts a deluxe build, showing off the beautiful graining of the wood through a striking high-gloss finish. The bright foundation sound, meanwhile, offers a snappy response and velvety trebles which can be faithfully amplified via the fitted Fishman Presys Blend preamp complete with built-in tuner and a mix pot for the piezo pickup and integrated microphone signal blend.
