General

One of Cordoba's best-selling models, the GK Studio is the weapon of choice for countless live performers, studio and bedroom musicians. The body and neck are a tad smaller for maximum playability and minimum amplifier feedback, while the 40mm string spacing helps to ensure a more than satisfying degree of comfort. The higher registers, meanwhile, are effortlessly navigable thanks to the cutaway in the lower bout, since the build includes a relatively low action and a transparent soundboard tap plate, the GK Studio is essentially optimised for percussive flamenco-style playing.

Faithfully Amplified Tone

Hooking up an acoustic amp is something we can only highly recommended, since the piezo pickup at the bridge has been teamed up with a built-in microphone. Both signals are sent to a Fishman Presys Blend preamp and a set of tone and volume controls for faithfully amplified tone that sounds just as good the solidly sustained basses and the tight, punchy trebles of this Spanish guitar's pure, bright acoustic sound.

Wrote the following about Cordoba GK Studio Electro-Acoustic Classical Guitar

Een prachtige gitaar met een erg mooie klank, een goede sustain en is prettige bespeelbaar alhoewel ik de action beter had verwacht dan hij is. De gitaar ontstemt heel erg snel, ben constant aan het stemmen en of dit aan de gitaar of aan de snaren ligt ben ik na 14 dagen nog steeds niet achter. De elektronica laat te wensen over, vind hem over de versterker niet erg lekker klinken. Het ingebouwde stemapparaat is niet al te best en geeft regelmatig bij herhaalt aanslaan van de snaar andere waardes aan. Bij het stemmen van de G snaar zie je een 6 in plaats van een g (staat op zijn kop dus), een fout in de elektronica dus.

De bezorging was niet zoals afgesproken, de bezorger liet me zitten met het bericht dat men mij niet thuis aantrof terwijl ik mijn tijd nuttig aan het besteden was voor de deur van mijn woning en ik de bezorger nooit had kunnen missen. Het word toch eens tijd dat de baxshop de vervoerder hierop aanspreekt, ik ben een lange tijd geen baxshop klant meer geweest om deze reden en hoopte dat het veranderd zou zijn... bij andere winkels nooit dit probleem gehad en ik bestel toch erg veel via internet.

De verpakking van de gitaar was prima, bij bestelde product een bladmuziekstandaard zat helaas in eenzelfde doos als de gitaar zat en in zo'n doos gaan 3 tot 4 gitaarstandaards, overdreven groot en milieu onvriendelijk. Het gebedel om bax-shop reviews en vragen om een mening over en door de baxshop ervaar ik als zeer vervelend, dat levert al een slechte review op.

De 4 sterren zijn echt voor de gitaar, de baxshop krijgt er veel minder.
