General

Dressed to the nines including an abalone binding, black finish and sound hole rosette, the Family Pro Series RCE145BK from Ortega is an electro-acoustic classical guitar with a dual-action truss rod, a solid spruce top and D'Addario EXP46 strings. Using the truss rod, the curvature of the neck of the guitar can be adjusted after it's been warped due to temperature changes while the solid spruce top of the RCE145BK ensures every last bit of resonance is turned into rich, warm sound. For optimal playability, Ortega have gone with a slightly less deep, thinline body, which combines with the high-tension D'Addario strings for full, bright tone and, in addition, the built-in Ortega MagusPro-NL preamp can be used to amplify this acoustic sound. Thanks to the integrated tuner, you're always assured of pitch-perfect tuning. All in all, the Ortega RCE145BK is a superbly stylish guitar that even comes complete with its own gig bag.

Deze gitaar heeft een mooie uitstraling en is het geld meer dan waard.
Er zijn echter wel een paar verbeter punten bij mijn exemplaar waren er uitstekende frets, welke behoorlijk scherp waren, ook de snaarhoogte boven de hals was wat aan de hoge kant.
Nadat deze minpunten door mijzelf waren aangepast is het een prima bespeelbaar instrument met een mooie klank en leuke elektronica.
