General

Looking for a nylon-stringed, classical guitar with amplification that is just a little bit different from the rest? Then the Ovation Celebrity CS Standard will interest you! This electric-acoustic guitar plays light, responds quickly to your touch and has a warm sound thanks to its solid cedar top. Ovation is known for its distinctive Lyrachord body shape: a round back made of plastic. This lies comfortably against your body while playing and gives the guitar a unique character. The natural colour is beautifully finished with an inlaid abalone rosette. And this Ovation comes with premium Hannabach strings that include both carbon and GOLDIN strings.

Construction and reinforcement

Inside, fan-bracing provides extra resonance and stability, something you'll notice especially when fingerstyle. And the cutaway gives you free access to high frets. The ideal playing comfort! What completes the Celebrity CS Standard is the built-in element and preamp. The Ovation CT-600A Slimline with OP-4CT preamp ensures that your classical guitar sounds just as beautiful amplified as without. Also thanks to the 3-band EQ that lets you adjust your sound with ease using the bass, mid and treble controls. Great for when you lack volume on stage. There is also a tuner in the preamp, which makes tuning very easy! The Ovation Celebrity CS Standard is an electric-acoustic classical guitar with a unique character, both acoustic and amplified.
