Looking for a classic Ovation Roundback guitar marked by premium details and maximum playing comfort? This is the CE48 Exotic from The Celebrity Collection. Thanks to its round and lightweight Lyrachord composite back, this stage-ready electro-acoustic guitar offers optimum comfort when you're playing standing up, shaping balanced, focussed lows and crystal-clear trebles. The mahogany neck, 10" fretboard radius and relatively short 25.3" scale length combine for excellent playability while, for extra-chic looks, Ovation have furnished the CE48 with a quilted maple top and abalone position markers.
The CE48 Exotic: Multi-Sound Hole Design & Flexible Amplified Sound
You may have noticed that this steel-stringed Ovation guitar doesn't have a traditionally centred sound hole. Instead, the wooden epaulettes on both sides of the upper bout feature multiple smaller sound holes with different dimensions. This special multi-sound hole design guarantees enhanced individual note clarity and helps to reduce feedback to a minimum, while an under-saddle piëzo pickup and the OP-4CT preamp loaded with a 3-band EQ assure you of a versatile plugged-in sound.

I placed the order on 14/02/24 and paid an extra £10 for express delivery. Due 17/02. BAX-SHOP stated standard free delivery would be 19/02.
Much to my dismay, frustration, inconvenience and anger at paying an extra tenner, The guitar arrived on 20/02. This was the royal mails fault. My main moan here is I emailed Bax customer services twice, to see if I could be refundedTo which I have not received any reply. To test the email box was monitored I emailed again using a different email asking a general question. I had a lovely informative reply from them, proving it is monitored and my other emails of complaint were being ignored.
The instrument is very nice, great finish and tone for slim body, not plugged in yet. The neck is smooth and plays like an electric, however I may drop the action a tad. It’s a good solid nice guitar the blue finish looks nice in my collection, I would recommend the guitar, but sadly not BAX, seems they only communicate when it’s good for them.
