The Yamaha LL6 ARE offers class in every aspect. This electro-acoustic steel-string guitar with a jumbo-sized body is a strong model when it comes to sound and playability. The instrument features the exclusive Engelmann spruce top - a type of spruce that is relatively rare, and beloved by guitar builders and players for its sound. Furthermore, the LL6 ARE is also equipped with a Yamaha SRT Zero Impact contact pickup. This consists of smaller piezo pickups per string, and doesn't include any additional hardware, as to have no impact on the traditional acoustic look and feel of the guitar. This particular model features the Natural finish for a fresh, organic look. The solid spruce top is combined with sides and back of solid rosewood, and the interior of the body features an improved bracing system developed to boost the bass response without sacrificing overall sound transparency. Additionally, the 5-piece neck is made of mahogany and rosewood, and thanks to the construction with an adjustable truss rod, you don't have to worry about twisting or warping. The traditional neck profile appeals to many different types of guitarists, and the 20-fret rosewood fingerboard is comfortable to play over the entire length.

Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

A special feature of the LL6 ARE is that the top was processed with the special Yamaha ARE wood enhancing technology. This is a procedure which adjusts the temperature, air pressure and moisture of the Engelmann spruce to alter its molecular characteristics to match those of vintage guitars. Wood settles over time, and that's why vintage guitars have such a rich, full sound. With ARE, the LL6 ARE has that sound right out of the box!
