General
As the old adage says and as Takamine prove with the GX18CE-NS, size doesn't always matter. This solid-top electro-acoustic steel-string guitar has a compact 3/4-size and a NEX-style body, making it suitable for travelling guitarists, players with smaller hands and children of 8 years and older. Because of the narrow string nut and the modern 12-inch fretboard radius, the neck sits comfortable in the palm of your hand and, to sweeten the deal some more, Takamine throw in a handy gig bag.
The GX18CE-NS with Solid Top
The foundation sound of the GX18CE-NS is shaped by a solid spruce top, meaning you can count on outstanding projection with a ton of volume. Add in the mahogany back and sides and you've got a trusty tonal recipe with a bunch of different flavours. Fun fact: this guitar has a built-in Takamine TP-4T preamp and an integrated tuner, so you can even take this electro-acoustic model on stage or to a recording session!
