Full and powerful sound guaranteed by an all-solid construction and dreadnought body, as well as a built-in Fishman Sonitone preamp system, the D’Angelico Excel Series Bowery electro-acoustic is built for studio as well as stage work. Unplugged or amplified, the combo of a solid Sitka spruce soundboard and solid mahogany back and sides sets you up with lush and versatile sound that packs just the right level of definition for finger-picking as well the tonal depth demanded by strumming techniques. Gig bag included.
The D'Angelico Excel Bowery: A Detailed Build
One look at this single-cutaway electro-acoustic lets you know the level of thought that's gone into the build. From the signature D’Angelico style headstock shape and mother-of-pearl logo inlay to the set of gilded Grover 109 Super Rotomatic machine heads. Less obvious but just as essential, is the comfy C-profile carve and satin gloss finish of the mahogany neck, and the fast and flat radius of the dark ebony fretboard. Naturally, the mother-of-pearl Small Diamond position markers polish everything off with deluxe style.

Très bel instrument malgré une fabrication chinoise (non stipulé dans l'annonce)
J'ai profité d'une promo vraiment exceptionnelle (60% -11%)
Après réglages de l'action, ça sonne bien dans la tradition country western mais peut s'adapter à tous les styles.
La guitare pourrait avoir un peu plus de basses pour du tout massif.
Le son est certainement appelé à se bonifier avec le temps et le séchage des bois neufs.
Livraison correcte
Je ne regrette pas mon achat
Une guitare de plus à ma panoplie déjà bien conséquente.
