Thanks to the natural mahogany finish, high-gloss lacquer and signature D'Angelico detailing, the Premier Fulton LS electro-acoustic doesn't just bring big and lush twelve-string sound but plenty of throw-back flair. The slim-C profile and high-gloss finish off the neck support excellent playing comfort and reduced playing fatigue, while the mahogany construction and grand auditorium body-shape ensure warm, full and defined acoustic sound. Plug in the built-in D'Angelico MG-30 preamp and piezo pickup, and the amplified voice of this model is just as on-point, and so you can tweak the EQ and volume to taste, a set of controls has been mounted on the side of the upper bout, alongside an integrated tuner.

Ik zocht een handzame twaalfsnarige akoestische gitaar en heb onlangs de D'Angelico Premier Fulton LS aangeschaft. De kwaliteit is verbluffend goed. De volledig mahonie jumbo body is prachtig afgewerkt en dat geld ook voor de (rosewood?) toets en de frets. Dat de gitaar af fabriek al goed is afgesteld (voor mij althans) bespaart me een hoop gedoe om de bespeelbaarheid optimaal te krijgen. De eerste indruk is best een heldere warme toon voor het formaat, dus dat zal na een tijd inspelen ongetwijfeld veel meer body krijgen. Het ingebouwde eigen merk equalizertje-met-tuner heeft wel erg priegelige knopjes, maar doet wat het doen moet. Versterkt heb ik gitaar nog niet. Ben er zeer blij mee en dat voor die prijs!
