The Fazley FE118CBK is an electro-acoustic steel-string guitar with an amazing price tag. It has an integrated preamplifier with a 4-band EQ and a built-in tuner with an integrated display, making tuning up as quick and easy as it gets. Two strap buttons have been fitted for securing a strap, so that whether standing or sitting, amplified or unplugged, the FE118CBK is a great option for anyone looking for an electro-acoustic that offers excellent value for money.
The FE118CBK: Versatile Sound
For an acoustic guitar to sound good, it needs to be made of the right materials. As such, the soundboard of the FE118CBK has been made from spruce to ensure bright, sparkling chords, while the mahogany back and sides add warmth as well as a great look. With beginner's in mind, Fazley have even included a set of two different pickguards, so you can mount your favourite for a fully customised look.
Playing Comfort
Fazley have also taken care to ensure that the FE118CBK offers comfortable playability. The nut is relatively narrow at 42.5mm, which makes it easier to grip chords, while the C-profile of the mahogany neck and deep cutaway in the body allows smooth access to each of the 20 frets of the roupana fretboard. Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player looking to add to your collection, the Fazley FE118CBK is an affordable choice.

I purchased this guitar for my self, at the price you know that you are going to be doing a bit of setting up for yourself so I was not disappointed with what I received. I had to work on the nut as 2 of the strings were touching the first fret so out came the baking soda and superglue and I raised the string height at the nut, I used the strings it came with to check it and was not surprised when I broke the high E string, A decent set of Earnie Ball strings later and I had a reasonable sounding guitar. I wasn't bying a Taylor or a Martin I was buying a Fazley and so wasn't expecting Taylor results. Great guitar for the price range I am not disapointed.

Everything good except that I received it with faulty strings. First three wound strings had several missing loops and the low e string snapped on third day between nut and turner. Contacted Bax through email few times as well as through web form with photos but No response after almost a week. The web form states they get back to you within 24hr but they didn’t.
The instrument itself isn’t bad for the price and delivery was fast. Looks nice but I am beginner and cannot comment on the tone but sounded good before string snapped. Cannot use it until string is sorted.

Een fijne gitaar met een mooie klank, zowel akoestisch als versterkt. Ook de afwerking is goed verzorgd. Zeker als je de kwaliteit/prijs vergelijkt is het een zeer goed product. Heel handig is ook de in de versterkerbediening verwerkte stemapparaat. Kortom een aanrader. De levering was keurig verzorgd, de gitaar was goed verpakt en werd op tijd geleverd.

Ben zelf een beginner en had nog nooit gitaar gespeeld, dus heel veel vergelijk heb ik niet. Wat mij betreft een prima gitaar enige minpuntje is dat toen ik hem kocht ik thuis zag dat er een pinnetje niet goed vast zat in de brug. De service bij Bax is top.

Het werd nu tijd voor het echte werk.
Dus naar Bax in Goes om een gitaar te "zoeken"...nou zoeken hoeft niet, het hangt en staat er vol mee...
Als student had ik niet zo'n heel groot budget, ook dat is bij Bax geen probleem.
Op aanraden van een vriend deze aangeschaft, handig is de ingebouwde tuner.(die volgens Bax accuraat is)
De mogelijkheid om in de toekomst de gitaar op een amp aan te sluiten was ook een pré, zeker met de ingebouwde equalizer.
Een kennis die al jaren gitaar speelt vond het een goede beginners gitaar.
(Als hij speelt weet je waartoe deze "budget gitaar" toe in staat is, ik heb nog een lange weg te gaan..
Kortom, mijn inziens (met behulp van m'n maatje) een goede keuze gemaakt.
Alle medewerkers van Bax, hartelijk dank voor geweldige service.
Het feit dat je nou een "budget gitaar" zoekt of een topklasse Fender of Gretch maakt voor hun geen enkel verschil.
