While the Player edition of the Fender Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is a touch more affordable, it still comes loaded with an Acoustasonic Shawbucker Magnetic pickup that was designed exclusively by Mr. Tim Shaw himself, an Under-Saddle piezo and a tasty stack of voicings. The neat three-way switch and Blend pot scroll through six different sonic flavours, so this true all-rounder of a six-string can be flipped between two acoustic guitar emulations; two piezo-based variations; and clean or high-gain Shawbucker-driven electric guitar sound or a mix of both. Beyond inspiring, the Acoustasonic Player Jazzmaster comes wrapped up in its own Deluxe 1225 gig bag.

The Fender Acoustasonic Player Jazzmaster: Trusted Build Quality, Fender Playability & Solid Tuning

The soundboard has been carved from a slice of solid A-grade spruce and features a specially developed WaterFall Sound Port soundhole while the back and sides are made from solid A-grade mahogany to match the bolt-on mahogany neck. Full-on Fender playability is supplied by the snug and agile feel of the deep-C neck profile, 12 inch fretboard radius and twenty-two narrow-tall frets, and since the nut, saddle and bridge pins are all made from Graph Tech TUSQ and the headstock has been finished with a set of modern Fender machine heads, you're assured of outstanding tuning stability and maximum vibrational transfer.
