Godin introduces the Fairmount CW Flame Maple GT EQ: a handsome electro-acoustic guitar that has been built in Canada with maximum attention to detail. That means you're looking at a flamed maple body that's been topped with a solid spruce soundboard and features a slim shape complete with a softly-contoured cutaway for eased access to the highest frets. So you can keep the whole thing unscathed on the way to the venue, Godin even includes matching gig bag.
The Fairmount CW GT EQ: LR Baggs HiFi Preamp
Whether you're always in the studio or spend a lot of time on the stage, the Godin Fairmount CW is a safe bet. This electro-acoustic model shapes brilliantly clear sound that's amplified with the same level of clarity thanks to the high-quality LR Baggs HiFi preamp, which gives you tone and volume controls tucked away in the soundhole. A smaller but no less important spec is the Graph Tech nut, which boosts the tuning stability as well as the resonance.
