General

The Ibanez AE170 NTR features solid sitka spruce top that provides sparkling highs and full lows combined with a red flamed maple back and sides. Visually and aurally, this electric-acoustic guitar is a gem. The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp also deliver that same strong sound amplified. The narrow AE body makes this guitar very easy to play, and the Comfort Grip maple neck and Thermo Aged fingerboard also add to the playing comfort. An extra small sound hole was provided in the upper bout, namely an A.I.R.port, which directs the sound waves outwards and allows you as a player to better control what you play.
