General

The Ibanez AE3007FMH electro-acoustic doesn't just boast the extended range of a seven-string setup, but some superior build quality courtesy of a Sitka spruce soundboard and an impressive flamed okoume back and sides. This model even features Ibanez' patented A.I.R. port, which is essentially an extra soundhole that's been punched into the upper bout, so you can monitor your acoustic sound. The Comfort Grip okoume and pau ferro neck has an immediately slim, snug and controlled feel in the fret-hand and, since the edges of the rosewood fretboard have been rounded off, the playability is verging on the luxurious. The amplified sound of this high-end model is also on point, thanks to the integrated Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp and Fishman S-Core pickup, which combine to pull every nuance out of the lush and organic tone of this progressive model.
