In addition to the HyVibe Series, LAG Guitars drops the BlueWave Series: a range of electro-acoustic guitars loaded with a slightly stripped back version of their ultra-innovative, in-house developed electronics. The left-handed LAG Guitars BlueWave 2 TLBW2DCE electro-acoustic has a large, dreadnought body with a solid spruce soundboard and rosewood back and sides. The khaya mahogany neck also features a dual-action truss so the action can be adjusted to customise the playing feel, and comes topped with a brankowood fretboard. Unplugged, this guitar packs warmth, fullness and bright, mid-range clarity and, once you add the integrated preamp system to the mix, things really open up.

A Bluetooth Speaker Without a Speaker

Like any standard electro-acoustic guitar, the onboard preamp can be hooked up to an acoustic amplifier or PA, but here, LAG Guitars have loaded their system with some interesting extras. For a start, you get two built-in effects: a reverb and a delay, which can be dialled in to colour in the sound with some atmosphere, whether you're plugged into an amplifier or not. Then there's the Bluetooth function: pair this guitar with your phone, tablet, or laptop and play music back through the guitar, using the body as your own personal speaker while you play along, whether you're streaming backing tracks or just your favourite playlist.
