General

The Ovation 2751AX-5-G Pro Series is a 12-string electric-acoustic western guitar that combines comfort and impressive sound. Thanks to the Deep Contour GS body with cutaway, the guitar lies wonderfully against your body and you have effortless access to the higher frets. The solid Sitka spruce top delivers a bright, full sound, while the Lyrachord 'roundback' back keeps the sound open and resonant. Moreover, this non-traditional back provides extra stability: in temperature and environmental differences, the plastic moves less than wood, so the guitar stays in tune better and you don't have to retune too often. Which is a big advantage on a 12-string guitar...

Made for precision and flexibility

When it comes to playing comfort and technique, this Ovation also impresses. The 5-piece mahogany/ maple neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard feels smooth and offers a pleasant 10-inch radius for both chord playing and fingerpicking. With 20 frets, a 25.3-inch scale and a wide nut width of 47.6 mm, you'll play comfortably and accurately on all 12 strings. The electronics are also well thought-out: the built-in OCP-1K pickup and OP-Pro preamp with tone control and tuner, make it easy to play both acoustic and amplified. You fine-tune with ease and easily adjust the sound with low-, mid- and high-knobs, handy for on stage or in the studio. The subtly inlaid pearl oak leaf rosette and deep gloss finish give the guitar a refined, characterful look that immediately stands out. With the 12-string Ovation 2751AX-5-G Pro Series, you get a guitar that sounds full, lively and consistent in any room!
