General

The Ovation 2758AX-NEB-G is a 12-string, electric-acoustic western guitar that derives its dynamics and definition from an A-grade Sitka spruce top, Lyrachord body and profiled X-bracing. The character is direct, brightly layered and tight in response, with the typical stability and projection players expect from Ovation. The five-piece mahogany/ maple neck, Pau Ferro fingerboard, the 18 fullsize frets with extension to 23, and the cutaway make it very comfortable to play in the highest positions! The New England Burst finish and hardwood epaulettes give this Elite Deep Contour a unique look, a real eye-catcher.

Transparent: acoustic and amplified

Amplified, the 2758AX-NEB-G remains just as transparent as acoustically: the OCP-1K cartridge and the OP-Pro preamp deliver clear playback, usable without any additional correction. But should you still want to adjust anything, you can do so with the dedicated gain, low-, mid- and high-sliders. This together with the EQ bypass knob and a discrete tuner give enough control options to set the sound and tuning exactly to your liking! The anthracite hardware, die-cast tuners and Adamas Nuova strings fit logically into an instrument designed to remain reliable under tension. And then the Lyrachord body also comes in very handy, as it is much less affected by external factors such as humidity and temperature. This Ovation 2758AX-NEB-G is not a guitar you choose just for the looks: it is a precision tool for players who know exactly what they want to get out of their western guitar.
