Featuring a Wee Lowden-style body, the Sheeran by Lowden W03 is a satisfyingly manageable electro-acoustic guitar developed in close collaboration with the man himself. Crafted in Ireland using both traditional and modern techniques, this guitar is the result of sustainably sourced tonewoods, including a solid cedar soundboard that lends it a warm-and-lush acoustic sound, and comes complete with a gig bag.
The W03: LR Baggs Electronics
To enrich the sound of the cedar soundboard, Sheeran and Lowden have picked out more trusty tonewoods, namely Indian rosewood for the back and sides, mahogany for the neck, and ebony for the bridge and fretboard. A Graph Tech TUSQ nut and saddle inject a welcome dose of resonance, while the on-board LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system takes care of balanced amplified sound.
