The CE44 Celebrity Elite Mid Depth is part of Ovation's Celebrity Collection. Kept nicely affordable, this contemporary-looking and effortlessly-playable electro-acoustic guitar is fully built for the stage and features a special Round-Back made of a synthetic Lyrachord composite which, in combination with the solid sitka spruce soundboard and the multi-sound hole design, results in a bright sound that's as powerful and robust as the construction that shapes it. This is the left-handed edition.

The Ovation CE44: Transparent Trebles, Focused Lows & Clear Amplified Sound

While the 10 inch radius ovangkol fretboard and satin-gloss-coated mahogany neck provide smooth access all the way up to the twenty-third fret, the solid top of the CE44 takes care of a full, rich and sustain-heavy acoustic sound, and the varied size of the sound holes pack the trebles with transparency and ensure extra-focussed lows. Hook up your favourite acoustic amp and the amplified sound is translated with high-grade accuracy by the CP-100 piezo pickup and OP-4CT preamp combo which comes with a volume control, a three-band EQ and a built-in tuner - flawless live sound guaranteed.

Ovation CE44L-5 Celebrity Elite Mid Depth Black Left-Handed Electro-Acoustic Guitar

Lovely left-handed upgrade!!! In addition to the unusual design/ aesthetics, the larger rounded back give a slightly louder acoustic sound which is great for on the fly jamming. Sounds great plugged in and also no issues so far tuning it down a couple of semitones - feels like a worthwhile investment for both songwriting and performing 🎭
