The CE4412 Celebrity Elite Mid Depth is part of Ovation's Celebrity Collection. Kept nicely affordable, this contemporary-looking and effortlessly-playable 12-string electro-acoustic guitar is fully built for the stage and features a special Round-Back made of a synthetic Lyrachord composite which, in combination with the solid sitka spruce soundboard and the multi-sound hole design, results in a bright sound that's as powerful and robust as the construction that shapes it.

The CE4412: Transparent Trebles, Focused Lows & Clear Amplified Sound

While the 10 inch radius ovangkol fretboard and satin-gloss-coated mahogany neck provide smooth access all the way up to the twenty-third fret, the solid top of the CE4412 takes care of a full, rich and sustain-heavy acoustic sound, and the varied size of the sound holes pack the trebles with transparency and ensure extra-focussed lows. Hook up your favourite acoustic amp and the amplified sound is translated with high-grade accuracy by the CP-100 piezo pickup and OP-4CT preamp combo which comes with a volume control, a three-band EQ and a built-in tuner - flawless live sound guaranteed.

A very playable, pleasant sounding 12 string, straight from the box, and with excellent electronics. Also very good note separation from each of the strings and the mid-depth bowl is a lot easier to handle than the deep-bowl body that's on my Ovation Custom Legend - but in fact, it's surprising how quickly you get used to it and Ovations have a feel and sound all of their own.

Ik heb deze gitaar als B-stock gekocht maar aangezien er alleen wat schade aan de doos was is ie eigenlijk helemaal nieuw. Het geluid is erg mooi en de gitaar speelt bijna net zo makkelijk als een 6 snarige. Ook over een versterker klinkt ie gewoon goed. Al met al dus zeer tevreden.
