Yamaha's APX electro-acoustic thin-line guitar is popular because of its compact body and lightweight, easy-to-play neck. Now, following in the footsteps of the APX500, the brand introduce this APX600 Dreadnought with improved bracing! In order to achieve extra bass response on top of the dynamic, clear base sound, this guitar has been fitted with a spruce top and a new bracing method under the bonnet. For those warm, sweet accents, it also has nato and rosewood components, the former makes the body complete and the latter is used for the fretboard and bridge. For the neck, a locally sourced tonewood was used to keep the manufacturing of this instrument as ecologically-friendly as possible.

The slender neck and fretboard radius is modern and flat, and a shorter scale length of 25 inches decreases the string tension to make playing licks and bending strings easy. The SRT piëzo pickup and System65 preamp ensure that the acoustic sound is amplified with great accuracy. As well as a 3-band equalizer and volume controls, this system also features a built-in tuner and the option to turn up the mid-button frequency from 80 Hz to 10 kHz.
