Naturally, the Dimavery OV-500 series couldn't do without a blue version. This roundback acoustic guitar owes its name to its curved synthetic back. The design of this OV-500 was based on the world-famous Ovation guitars and makes that it produces a tight, clear sound with subtle basses. This model features a body recess known as a cutaway, that makes it easier to reach the highest frets.

Dimavery OV-500: beautifully finished with several types of wood

The top of this guitar is made of agathis and sports a flamed maple pattern. The neck is made of maple and features a rosewood fretboard with white position markers and bindings. Contrary to traditional acoustic guitars, the OV-500 has several small sound holes. These holes are beautifully finished with a wooden leaf motif.

Built-in pickup + preamp for recording and performing

Thanks to the built-in piezo pickup you can use this steel-string guitar both acoustically and amplified, which is ideal for recording or live performances. Additionally, this guitar features a preamp with a three-band equalizer and a separate Presence and volume control. The battery check shows you whether the battery needs replacing. As these guitars produce a tight sound with few basses, they're ideal to use on stage at high volume.
