If you love the way the legendary J-200 sounds and looks but you can't quite get your arms around its jumbo-sized body, here's the more manageable solution: the Epiphone J-200 EC Studio Parlor. This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Collection Series model has the same vibe as the original but features a smaller parlour-size (0-style) body. As such, the low-end of the acoustic sound is slightly reined in, which paves the way for enhanced mids and makes this snug guitar perfect for more intimate gigs.

What also makes the Epiphone Studio Parlor a great pick is the fact that its smaller build makes for a fully-fledged travel guitar. The rich projection of the spruce top is backed up by the ample punch shaped by the ovangkol body parts and maple neck and, thanks to a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Presys II preamp, the foundation sound can be amplified with ease and tuned using the built-in tuner. If needed, you have the option to reverse the phase as well as the option to cut or boost the basses or trebles using the fitted set of controls.
