Expanding their Acoustasonic range, Fender present the Acoustasonic Player Telecaster complete with signature innovations and surprises. By combining an acoustic-style piezo pickup with an electric-style magnetic single-coil, this hybrid game-changer can flip through six entirely different sounds that comes in both electric and acoustic flavours. Find your preferred setup via the three-way switch and tweak the blend pot to call up the sound of a Fat Tele just as easily as you can a rosewood dreadnought. The ultimate sonic Swiss Army knife for the modern musician, the Acoustasonic Player Telecaster comes complete with a Fender Deluxe FE1225 gig bag.
The Acoustasonic Player Telecaster: Smart Design
The back and sides of the Acoustasonic Player Telecaster have been made from mahogany and topped with a sitka spruce soundboard, finishing a solid and versatile acoustic foundation. In terms of playability, the rosewood fretboard has a 12 inch radius and has been loaded with a set of 22 narrow-tall frets, all of which combines with the deep-C neck profile for a light and agile playing feel. The nut as well as the bridge pins have been provided by Graph Tech and made from TUSQ to ensure maximum resonance and stable tuning, and finishing in style, every inch of this cleverly designed model has been given a coat of butter-smooth satin-gloss.
