The CT-140SE is a handy travel-sized electro-acoustic guitar from Fender's Classic Design series. It has a compact body and a shorter scale length that measures 23.5 inches, which means it's suitable for children. This guitar has a solid spruce top and a body that is based on an auditorium model. The CT-140SE comes with a Fender hardshell case so that you can safely take it with you wherever you go.

Classic Design CT-140SE: wood types and sound

The back, sides, bridge and fretboard on this model are all made of rosewood, while the set-in neck is made of mahogany. Optimal playing comfort is assured thanks to the rounded fret edges and the Easy-to-Play neck profile. The CT-140SE produces a well-balanced mix of bass, mid and treble tones and regardless of whether you play with or without a plectrum, you'll be able to enjoy a rich palette of dynamic steel-string acoustic guitar sounds. A Fishman piezo pickup and preamp send your signal to an amp and allow you to customise your sound.
