This Gretsch G5024E produces a rugged, clear sound and offers a nice alternative to its regular dreadnought counterparts. This Rancher Dreadnought Electric stands out thanks to its triangular sound hole and uniquely shaped pickguard – both typical characteristics of Gretsch's Rancher series – and features striking gold-coloured hardware that looks great against the deep brown finish of the body. The laurel fingerboard of the 12-string guitar is fitted with stylish thumbnail position markers.
G5024E: Spruce and Mahogany
The dreadnought-style body of this G5024E Rancher guarantees a decent volume with prominent bass tones, and the solid spruce top ensures a powerful, clear sound that carries quite far. The use of mahogany for the sides and beautifully arched back of the guitar benefits the overall tone by adding even more warmth.
A Reliable Preamp
Thanks to the addition of an Isys+ preamplifier and a Sonicore piezo pickup from the popular brand Fishman, the G5024E can be easily and accurately amplified. A volume knob and two-band tone controls enable you to adjust the sound to your preferences, and a special phase controller ensures a better bass response at low volumes and suppresses feedback at high volumes. Thanks to a built-in chromatic tuner, you can effortlessly tune this fantastic 12-string western guitar to perfection.

Handig dat er een tuner in zit. Ook de "Phase" knop komt erg van pas, op het podium of in de oefenruimte met een hoop herrie.
Enige kleine minpuntje zijn de strap buttons voor de gitaarband. Deze zijn allebei wat aan de grote kant, wat het soms lastig maakt om er een band omheen te doen. Maar voor zover een gitaar gaat om het geluid, ben ik zeer tevreden en zal ik deze gitaar aan iedereen aanraden!
