General
As part of the acclaimed Artwood Series, the Ibanez AC150CE has been shaped by traditional craftsmanship and progressive techniques to finish a solid, comfortable and incredibly resonant instrument with masses of presence. The round form of the classically shaped grand concert-style body and forearm bevel completes the excellent level of playing comfort offered by this model. The acoustic sound of the AC150CE is also a mix of convention, tradition and the contemporary, provided by a solid spruce top for consistent and deliciously opulent projection.
The AC150CE: Prominent Midrange, a Tempered High-End and Present Bass
The rest of the body has been constructed using okoume and the nyatoh neck has been set in and topped with an ovangkol fretboard. As such, the midrange produced by this acoustic guitar is prominent while the high-range is nicely tempered, giving the low-end a little more space and presence in the overall sound. This is then registered and amplified by the fitted T-bar pickup and AEX-TPS preamplifier, and the result can be tweaked as needed using the provided bass and treble pots, but only after you've double-checked the strings using the built-in tuner.

Cette guitare correspond en tout points à mes attentes.
La finition est un peu brute, mais il n'y a pas de défauts rédhibitoires.
Le manche est d'un confort maximal et c'est le gros point fort de cette guitare !
Le son est correct, et ça marche plutôt bien en électro, avec la sortie XLR notamment, le préamp dispose des fonctions nécessaires ainsi que d'un accordeur.
C'est plus une guitare de picking que de gros strumming folk rock.
Les basses sont feutrées mais sont présentes, les aigus dans la même veine, donc, pas très cristallins.
La projection est moyenne.
La coupe en biais sur le haut de la caisse est un vrai plus au niveau du confort également.
A ce prix, rien à dire de négatif .
