Crafted to give you that traditionally rich, sparkling 12-string sound with an added touch of roundness, the Ibanez AEG5012 is the perfect pick for players looking for a generously affordable 12-string guitar. The foundation sound is captured by a T-bar II undersaddle pickup, which routes the sound directly to the AEQ-TTS2 preamp from where it can be sent to an acoustic amp or a DI of choice. Before you start playing, you can use the built-in tuner to tune up the AEG5012, after which the low-end and high-end can be tweaked to taste via the fitted bass and treble controls.

Wrote the following about Ibanez AEG5012 Black High Gloss 12-String Electro-Acoustic Guitar

A 12 string with neck and action like a 6 string! Barre chords full octave. İntonation very good. Tuning easy as built in! Ok, the limitations. İt is acceptable unplugged, but it come alive when you plug it in, amp or recording. Then you get a sound as good as any 12 string. For c£300 (09/24) you get a wonderfully playable 12 string. With sound processing today this is a great "input" instrument . Looks bonny too,with high gloss finish. My first Ibanez and impressed.
