In their Exotic Woods line, Ibanez offers a range of acoustic guitars that are made of exquisite wood types with a unique look. This AEW model guitar with a Natural High Gloss finish, for instance, has a back and sides made of a characteristic mosaic of spalted maple, rosewood and walnut. Of course, each individual guitar has its own distinct pattern. These guitars, including the AEW51, have a body shape that's based on the Jumbo model, and feature a soft Florentine cutaway. As such, every Ibanez AEW has a characteristic acoustic sound that carries well, and you can comfortably play solos quite high up on the neck.

AEW51-NT: dynamic, prominent and bright

The sitka spruce top with a rosette of spalted maple and rosewood offers a beautiful contrast to the aforementioned sides and back. Ibanez AEW51 Natural High Gloss electro-acoustic guitar

Uiterlijk erg mooi, speelt licht (na even afstellen) in combinatie met 80/20 snaren is dit een geweldige gitaar. Enige minpunt is het ingebouwde stemapparaat, maar het zou goed kunnen dat ik daar eens een specialist naar moet laten kijken. Of, ik kan niet wennen aan de lichtjes :) maar met dat minpuntje blijft het een mooi en fijn instrument.
