The electro-acoustic sibling of the AW54CE-OPN, the Ibanez AW54L offers warmth and plenty of acoustic depth when unplugged while built-in electronics ensure faithful amplification whether in the studio or on stage. The okoume back and sides of the resonance chamber have been topped with resonant, solid okoume and coated in an open-pore finish to allow the wood as well as the sound to naturally mature with age. This Artwood Series electro-acoustic steel-string offers definition, comfort and balance at a more than attainable price.

The Ibanez AW54CE-OPN: Cutaway Electric

Since this is the CE version of the AW54L, it comes with a 'Cutaway Electric' body, meaning that it's been shaped with a deep cutaway that grants eased access to the upper frets. The larger, deeper dreadnought shape delivers a reliably full and rich, open sound projection that's only strengthened by the solid soundboard.

T-Bar Pickup & AEQ-TP2 Preamp

The electronics that have been loaded into the AW2L start with the T-bar undersaddle pickup. This accurate pickup registers the sound of both the strings and the body resonance before sending the signal through the fitted Ibanez AEQ2TF preamp which sets you up with volume control; a two-band equaliser; a useful phase-function to give you total control over your amplified sound, and to finish, a built-in tuner with LED indicators.
