Product information

General

Myrtlewood has a different sound to the usual types of wood: warm and bright at the same time, with a projection reminiscent of maple and beautiful natural colour variations. The Cort SFX-Myrtlewood uses this wood for the top, sides and back, giving each instrument a unique look! The top is also torrefied, ensuring the guitar has a well-played-in character upon delivery. Thanks to the slim SFX body with a curved back and cutaway, the Cort guitar sits comfortably against your body and is also easy to carry around! The handy cutaway makes the higher frets easy to reach, and the modern mahogany V-neck offers extremely solid playing comfort. For live use, the Fishman Presys II is built in with a Sonicore pickup. It also comes with a built-in tuner and EQ, for quick adjustments on stage. From acoustic fingerpicking to a full set through an amplifier: the SFX Myrtlewood can do it all!
