The top of this Mayson guitar is made of solid Engelmann spruce and is arched to emphasise its fast character. The sides and back are made of layered mahogany for a friendly, warm tone. Mayson's wood-layering method guarantees lots of volume and pressure and the guitars with cutaway in this Elementary Series have a MPC-4 Purecoustics™ active piëzo pickup system built in for a very neutral sound with no further adjustments controls. It's an ideal instrument for use on stage and in the studio and the wooden bindings and satin-gloss finish give it a distinguished look. It even comes complete in a gig bag.
