KAT Percussion HD400: bright and energetic
In live performance situations, the HD400 offers a bright and energetic sound for digital instruments such as electronic drum kits, keyboards, (guitar) synthesizers, DJ controllers and even VST software. With the HD400, these instruments will come to life like never before. Even vocals will come out with all the sparkling treble and warm bass you need, as this device is equipped with an XLR input.
Studio and stage
With its impressive 400W power capacity and highly balanced sound reproduction, this system is suited for use in the studio, as well as on stage and even at home. The 15-inch subwoofer offers a punchy low end, and the HD400's rich and detailed high end comes courtesy of its 6-inch mid-range speakers and their 1-inch tweeters. As every situation comes with its own unique challenges, the HD400 features controls on the front that allow you to adjust the sound to suit the acoustics of the space you're performing in. For instance, you'll find high shelf and low notch filters, DSP FX with reverb, chorus and delay, and even a 3-band EQ. Furthermore, the control panel also features two 1/4" stereo jack inputs, an XLR microphone input and a stereo aux line input.
Rehearsal
For quiet practice sessions, you can use the 1/4" stereo jack headphone output and the integrated headphone amplifier with its separate volume control. The KAT Percussion HD400 comes with two speaker stands, an IEC cable and two speaker cables.
