Alesis Command Mesh Electronic Drum Kit

General

The Alesis Command Mesh Kit is an electronic drum kit that offers an authentic drumming experience. The 10-inch snare and three 8-inch toms have mesh pad heads that respond just like acoustic drumheads when hit. They feature dual-zones which means that each one can give you two different sounds depending where you hit. The bass drum also has a mesh head and comes with a stand and pedal. Three cymbals are included: a 10-inch ride with choke, a 10-inch crash with choke and a 10-inch hi-hat with a pedal. You also get a robust rack to mount everything on, all the cables you need, a set of sticks, a drum key and a power adapter.

Command Advanced Module

The Command Advanced Module is the brain of the Command Mesh Kit. It offers no fewer than 671 sounds and has 54 kits built in, with extra room for you to build and store your own kits. It's even possible to load your own WAV samples in from a USB stick or load your own backing tracks (if you don't want to play along with the 60 songs Alesis has already included for you). You can  connect a smartphone, tablet or any other music player via the mini jack auxiliary input and the built-in metronome help you keep time while you record your performances and playback to check on your paradiddles and roll technique. 

Connectors

Most of the connectors on the module can be found on the back of the unit. There's a MIDI input and output and also USB MIDI that can be used to connect to a computer. There are stereo outputs for connecting to equipment like an amplifier or a mixer and a headphone socket so that you can practise to your heart's content without disturbing others. There are also extra inputs that allow you to connect an additional tom and cymbal if you like.
