General
The Alesis Forge Kit is an electronic drum kit that has everything a drummer needs. It features an 11-inch dual-zone snare drum pad and three 8-inch tom pads. The bass drum pad is mounted on a sturdy tower construction and comes with a pedal. There are three 10-inch cymbal pads for the hi-hat, ride and crash with choke function. The entire kit is powered by the Alesis Forge Drum Module.
Forge Drum Module: chock-full of functions
This module offers 70 kits, 50 of which are pre-programmed by Alesis, which leaves 20 for you to configure yourself. With 600 samples at your disposal, you can create a kit in any music style. Playing along with tracks is easy - the module features 60 tracks on board and you can load in and playback your own WAV files using the USB stick. Connect your computer by means of the USB/MIDI output and use the Forge Kit as a virtual instrument in your DAW.
Ready to go
The Forge Kit is designed to be set on a durable, chrome-plated rack with four legs. The kit includes all the necessary cables to connect the pads to the module as well as a power adapter. Alesis have even included a pair of sticks and a drum key so you can get started right away!

Alesis is going big for NAMM 2016, with four new electronic drum kits. Two of them feature pads and advanced drum modules we've come to expect from Alesis. The other two, however, are part of the new Strike series, and strive for optimal realism, feeling just like an acoustic drum kit.
