The Roland TD-11KV Special Edition V-drums electronic drum kit bridges the gap between the TD-11KV and the TD-25K. What you'll notice immediately is that the kit is supported by a larger rack, which has room for a third V-Cymbal. That third cymbal is a CY-12C crash, which features a more accurate trigger and flexible rocking motions, giving it a feel just like that of an acoustic cymbal. Another new feature is the VH-11 hi-hat, which offers full-motion response and double triggers. As such, it's much like playing an acoustic hi-hat - so much so, in fact, that you actually place it on a regular hi-hat stand.

TD-11KV Special Edition: setup

Just like the TD-11KV, this model has mesh heads on both the snare and the 3 tom pads. By using dual triggering technology, there's a different sound for striking the head and the rim. Furthermore, the bass drum pad features a cloth surface for quick response and accurate triggering, and it's large enough to accommodate a double bass drum pedal. Besides the aforementioned hi-hat and crash, this kit also comes with a CY-12C crash and a CY-13R ride cymbal.

Versatile drum module

The TD-11 sound module has a simple andclear interface. The module is equipped with modern technology and features a USB port and MIDI functionality. As such, it is possible to add you own sounds to the library of the TD-11. You can also use the drum kit for studio production purposes, as the module can be effortlessly connected via MIDI. The drum module features a metronome and a COACH function that allows you to further develop your drumming skills.
