General

The Yamaha DTX582K is a top-quality electronic drum kit from the DTX502 series. Its drum pads are made of Textured Cellular Silicone, which offers a remarkably comfortable and realistic playing experience.

Drum Pads, Cymbal Pads and Drum Rack

The DTX582K digital drum kit is comprised of a KP100 kick pad, the XP80 snare, three XP70 toms, two PCY135 cymbal pads and an RHH135 hi-hat pad. It even comes with an HS650A hi-hat stand. The different cymbals each have multiple touch-sensitive zones for varied expression. You can quickly and easily mount your pads on the RS502 drum rack, which is simple to set up and take down with the additional plus of being extra sturdy, thanks to its revamped design. All in all, this drum set is an excellent choice for the demanding drummer who values quality and affordability.

DTX502 Drum Module

The included DTX502 sound module is of course essential! It produces a total of 691 drum sounds, divided amongst various acoustic (from rock to jazz) and electronic kits. The module features 32-voice polyphony, a digital effects processor, a number of useful training programs, a headphone output and a USB port. The latter makes it really easy to sent MIDI information to your computer for editing and sharing.
