With the Nord Pad, Clavia's added a strong in-house percussion pad to their assortment. Six velocity-sensitive pads offer a nice, compact way to control the Nord Drum 2 module. If you're going for an all-Nord setup, then you can't be without the Nord Pad! The device comes with module mounting materials and an Ethernet cable for hassle-free mounting and connection.

Het spelen met drumsticks maakt wel heel veel herrie, dus ga er niet vanuit dat je 's avonds lekker kan drummen zonder andere mensen in huis te storen. Zelfs met een goede dichte koptelefoon op hoor je het getik op de pads nog door je geluiden heen, wat het moeilijk maakt om al spelende de geschiktheid van een geluid in een mix te beoordelen.
Na 1 klap op de pads is je Nord Pad trouwens niet meer nieuw; de miniscule deukjes van de aanslagen gaan er nooit meer uit.
De ethernetkabel voor aansluiting op de Nord Drum 2 en de bracket voor montage op een drumstandaard worden meegeleverd, wat erg netjes is. Maar dat mag ook wel voor de prijs.
