In order to adjust your sound system precisely, it is handy to use an equalizer. With an equalizer, you can attenuate tones that don't sound too great and make the sound a bit more sparkly. The equalizer is easy to build in and as you have the option to connect almost any kind of professional connector, you can rest assured that you won't have any connectivity problems. You can choose between RCA, XLR and 6.3 mm jack inputs and the outputs consist of XLR and 6.3 mm jack. In order to maintain high-quality sound, the equalizer also has the option to use a ground-lift function. This will counter possible humming. The front is equipped with 30 faders (15 per side). This allows you to control 15 different frequencies per channel, which is enough for any good-quality set. The XWG-152B is also equipped with a bypass. With this you can send the signal to the amplifier without having to intervene and it allows you to really hear the difference. Perfect for professional sound amplification ends.

Eerste impressie als de doos open gaat, netjes en verzorgt uiterlijk alleen de knoppen op de potmeters hadden wat verder erop gemogen voor de afwerking. Ziet er verder goed uit.
Tijd om aan te sluiten, meer dan voldoende mogelijkheden voor zowel een amateur (Cinch) en een semi-Pro (XLR/JACK) om hem aan te sluiten.
Opstarten, vervolgens een versterker en crossover eraan en muziek afspelen. Eerste wat opvalt is dat bij het bewegen van de faders in de 12dB functie je niet heel erg precies kunt afstellen wat in de 6dB functie wel kan. Voor mij dus de 6dB functie. Klankmatig redelijk in orde er zit wel behoorlijk wat verkleuring in het apparaat maar deze is voor mij niet storend en ik verwacht ook niet dat dat niet is voor dit geld.
De gains van het apparaat werken ook goed alleen heb ik het idee dat het 0dB punt op de -2dB stand hoort ipv de 0dB. Bij gebruik op 0dB treed een klein beetje vervorming op en dat hoor je wel, bij -2 helemaal weg.
Na wat gerommel ben ik al met al erg tevreden over deze equalizer en is hij voor zijn doel waar ik hem voor heb gekocht meer dan geschikt. Kortom een goed en degelijk apparaat voor weinig geld.
