American DJ, the renowned producer of high-quality light effects (among other things) brings us a new package deal. This VBar Pak pack consists of two Vbars, a convenient custom-designed bag and an infrared wireless remote control. The LED bars are very multifunctional, you can use them during recording or fashion shows thanks to their flicker-free operation, or to wash stages and dance floors, for instance. LED lights are highly popular among artists as they produce little to no heat.  

VBAR PAK: numerous options

The VBars feature 5 operational modes (including DMX-controlled, sound-active and master/slave), even RGBA colour blending, 15 built-in colour macros and 8 DMX channel modes for a wide range of programming options. The LED bars are equipped with five 4W, 4-in-1 LEDs (in red, green, blue and amber), adjustable brackets and rubber feet for uplighting. The LEDs are perfect for washing buildings or other large surfaces. To seal the deal, ADJ have included a wireless infrared remote control.

This does what I want which was a general spread of light to help complement other lighting. Having 2 means things can be balanced out nicely. Probably best as back lighting to give a nice area wash.

Versatile little lighting bars; they are short but excellent value for the price, though the menu tree is perhaps a little convoluted. ADJ could do with including an IEC link cable to come with the pair. Bax-shop despatch them with European and UK power leads which is hugely appreciated. I bought two pairs for plenty of coverage. Overall good value.
