The black light effect has been with us since the early eighties, mystifying many a dancefloor and giving an eerie glow to white clothes and clean teeth. American DJ now brings us the black light revisited. This fixture houses LED technology that produces the same effect and can be DMX controlled or with the included remote control. The LEDs have a lifespan of approximately 50,000 hours so this fixture will barely need any maintenance.
American DJ ECO UV Bar DMX: In Practice
The ECO UV fixture can be controlled via 3 DMX channels and can be easily incorporated into your lighting setup. The first DMX channel controls the dimmer, the second the strobe function and the third the dim curve. The strobe and dimmer can also be controlled using the remote control.
Technical Features of the ECO UV Bar DMX
This lamp is equipped with eighteen 3-Watt UV LEDs that together produce the magic UV light. These LEDs have a beam angle of 120 degrees, spreading the light beautifully. Thanks to the ECO UV Bar's IEC input and output, you can easily daisy chain up to ten of these fixtures. The included brackets make it easy to mount this lamp to a wall, ceiling or truss.

Een lichtopbrengst wat niet te geloven is.
Werk liever met deze bar dan met de TL Blacklight.
Alleen de ohangbeugels zijn niet van topkwaliteit.
Dus zowiezo voorzichtig mee omgaan.

Deze afstandsbediening is voor verschillende effecten te gebruiken, bijv. Een stroboscoop functie.
Ikzelf stuur deze uv led bar middels dmx aan waardoor meer effecten mogelijk zijn.
Voor een glow in the dark party is deze uv led bar een echte aanrader, prachtige gloed, veel effect.

Ook is het ideaal dat het LED is, er is geen opwarm of afkoel-tijd nodig! Je kan hierdoor zelfs ook shutteren met de blacklight.
Het enige nadeel is de slappe kwaliteit van de ophang/neerzet beugels.. deze kunnen erg weinig hebben en buigen helaas al snel om.. erg jammer omdat de rest van de lamp verder wel stevig in elkaar zit!!
Vanwege de beugels dan ook maar 3 sterren.. als de beugels steviger waren geweest waren het zeker 5 sterren geweest!
