General
The high energy consumption, sensitivity and enormous housing of classic 400W UV fixtures are a thing of the past. The Ayra LED UV Blaster is a compact 70W LED UV effect with adjustable projection angle and considerably reduced energy consumption and heat development.
The Ayra LED UV Blaster
Since this device has a UV (black light) effect, a relatively large amount of heat is still produced. To process this while remaining reliable, a large COB LED chip with various separate light sources has been fitted, with a combined 70 Watt LED power. This is backed up by a large heat sink and fan on the back and a reflector on the front, while the correction lens can be adjusted from narrow to very broad projection, depending on what you need.
White Becomes Purple!
As with classic blacklight effects, this device distinctively picks out white shirts and teeth, turning them into a blinding purple while neon-like colours suddenly glow and become blinding. In contrast to standard UV fixtures, replacing the lamp of the UV Blaster is far more economical and, as an added bonus, the unit can be controlled remotely via DMX or can be set using the built-in display and menu functions. I bought two of these UV Lights, used both for a Halloween Party in a small pub, the two units performed well, with a reasonable spread of Blacklight, certainly outperformed a pair of Chauvet CoreUV’s for less money. Thinking of adding two more for an 80’s Night on New Years Eve.
Only reason I’m giving it four stars and not five is I doubt I’d get the effect I’m looking for in larger venues. Worth it though for the price!

Schijnen best ver. De ventilator maakt wel wat lawaai maar niet onoverkomelijk.
Ik had de prijs liever rond de 100 euro gezien maar als een ventilator je niet stoort denk ik in deze prijsklasse dat dit product wel waarde biedt.

Had er al eentje maar de lichtopbrengst was toch een beetje zwak naast de stroboscopen, dus met een tweede erbij oogt het allemaal toch een beetje professioneler.

J'avais un ancien black light avec ampoule de 300 W qui fonctionne toujours très bien après 15 ans mais vraiment trop encombrant pour petite sonorisation et grosse consommation énergétique.
Je cherchaisquelque chose de plus petit avec LED.
J'ai vraiment été stupéfait par la puissance de cette LED encore plus puissante que ma lampe 300 W avec en plus possibilité de régler l'intensité ! + effet strobo + DMX... bref une merveille.
Seul bémol > ne pas installer n'importe où car la lumière est aveuglante dans le visage car tellement puissante.
Super achat !!!

Over het toestel zelf:
Relatief sterke lamp, straal grotendeels centraal gericht maar gaat wel voldoende breed voor een kleine/gemiddelde ruimte de nodige effect te geven.
Prijs/kwaliteit is prima, we zien wel hoe lang deze mee zal gaan.
Strobo, sterkteregeling en auto in de handmatige functies, wellicht nog meer keuze bij gebeuik van DMX.
Varia:
Nog wat betreft de prijs stond deze bij bestelling op €102, op dit moment staat ze op €131 en dat in promo.
Wat betreft bestelling ben ik nogal hard teleurgesteld; besteld eind april, geleverd in NOVEMBER... Ook de info over verzending komt op dag één terwijl de levering zelf op dag 3 of 4 is, ver weg van wat Bax vroeger was.
Pro's en contra's zoals gewoonlijk, al bij al een degelijk toestel maar voor snelle levering kijk je best op de teijn, als deze er niet direct is- zoek elders of kijk naar andere modellen.
