The Dreadbox Telepathy is an incredibly versatile synthesiser packed into a single Eurorack module. The Dreadbox Psychosis is a striking 6-input mixer, featuring effects such as reverb and chorus, also housed in a single Eurorack module. Combine these two concepts and you get the Dreadbox Telepathy Bundle, and it’s fascinating! For a start, it’s more than just the individual modules (six Telepathy units and one Psychosis unit); it also comes in a 70 HP case, complete with MIDI. So this would be a great starting point, particularly for beginners. On the one hand, these kinds of conceptually complete synthesiser modules somewhat bypass the core idea of Eurorack: patching modules with very basic functions together. On the other hand, if you were to opt for such basic modules, you’d need quite a few of them to achieve what this bundle can do. So, for beginners in particular, it’s a great solution for getting something usable very quickly.
