General
At some point, any Eurorack wall will need a clock generator: a module able to generate a gate-pulse that the other modules can respond to, so you can do things like trigger the start of an envelope, which is exactly what the Erica Synths Black VC Clock V2 Eurorack module does. The tempo is based on BPM and supports both shuffle and random output, and besides standard sequencer-work, plenty of Eurorack-heads will use a clock generator like this to create evolving soundscapes, where polyrhythms play a big role. As always, this Erica Synths offering can do way more than it says on the tin, so it comes ripe for experimentation.
