We will all (still) know that you cannot loop MIDI endlessly in a long array of synthesisers. If only because the performance of such a cable deteriorates, and then you risk losing data. Better to invest in a MIDI splitter, like the Erica Synths MIDI Dispatch. One MIDI in, up to eight cables out. That way, you can connect your hardware synths in parallel and no serial drop-outs occur. If you have a lot of synths, e.g. a lot of vintage synths (if equipped with MIDI), you really can't do without a great product like the MIDi Dispatch.
